Mike in Boston is the artist behind this painting called Progress. And for him, Lost is all about the journey. “We’ve had a vague idea where we’re going from the beginning but the fun has been in finding out how we get there,” he says. “Two players. Two sides. One is light. One is dark. It’s the oldest game in the world.”

Mike admits he’s a sucker for Desmond and Penny. See more of his work at his shop Dr. Mikey.

What is his name exactly? Man in Black? Un-locke? Flocke? Esau? Hopefully we’ll find out soon, but until then, Mike in Boston has captured Jacob’s nemesis beautifully in his painting Locke in Black.

You can find more prints of Mike’s Lost-inspired artwork available for purchase at his store Dr. Mikey.

4 forms The Man in Black has taken:

  1. Alex Rosseau when talking to Ben in the Temple.
  2. Yemi when appearing to Eko in the jungle.
  3. The Medusa Spider which paralyzes Nikki Fernandez.
  4. The Smoke Monster (that apparently only yields to white ash).

For a cake that draws on themes such as the black and white rocks and the Lost numbers, check out this one made by Melanie from Sweet Mella Photo & Etc. Melanie is a busy mom and writer from New Hampshire. Her favorite Lost character is Desmond.

The equally delicious treat below was created by Udo from Pennsylvania. You can get it at her shop Udo Umami. Udo says that Juliet is her favorite Lost character, but it wasn’t always that way. She didn’t like Juliet at first, but she grew on her after she got together with Sawyer.

What lies in the shadow of the statue? The answer is Ille qui nos omnes servabit, or, “he who will save us all.”

Annie from San Diego crafted this necklace which contains both the infamous question and Richard Alpert’s answer. You can find it at her shop Spiffing Jewelry.

4 (of 12) Latin notations found on the blast door map:

  1. Sursum corda which means “lift up your hearts” appears three timest. This phrase is spoken at the beginning of the Eucharistic Service of Holy Communion. It is also a poem by Ralph Waldo Emerson.
  2. Cogito ergo doleo which means “I think, therefore I suffer.” The notation appears just under the Flame station.
  3. Liberate te ex inferis which means “Save yourself from hell/the underworld.” If the magnetic anomaly at the Swan is 0 degrees, the notation appears at approximately 325 degrees, the bearing Ben provides Michael when he leaves the island.
  4. Mus uni non fidit antro which means “A mouse does not rely on just one hole.” The notation appears at approximately 305 degrees, the bearing that Daniel and the freighter team used to come and go from the island.

With the final season of Lost proving to be a culmination of the show’s light and dark theme, this bracelet featuring the black and white rocks would be a fitting piece to wear from now until May.

Atlantis 804 shop owner Annette created this Lost-inspired bracelet to pay homage to the black and white rocks. Annette recently went to Sunset on the Beach in Oahu to watch the first hour of the season premiere. It was her second trip to “the Island” and she again stopped by many Lost sites while she was there.

Annette says Ben is her favorite character. Jack, Desmond, Miles and Daniel round out her top 5 list.
