- Jin is listening to the song “Dharma Lady” by Geronimo Jackson while riding in the DHARMA van.
- The song “Dharma Lady” is also playing in the background after the 1977 DHARMA recruits have their picture taken.

- Charlie nicknamed Aaron “Turniphead.” In the Japanese film Howl’s Moving Castle, the character Turniphead turns out to be a missing prince under a witch’s spell.
- Aaron in the Bible is a descendant of Jacob. He was the first high priest of the Israelites.
- A pillar of cloud that proceeded the Israelites disappeared at Aaron’s death. It is said that Aaron was not buried but that his body was placed in a cave.
- More than 50 babies portrayed Aaron during the first three seasons of Lost.
